1Purpose
1.1The name Eurabelt, the name Eurabelt Fuels and the seal of the Eurabelt Custodial Order identify Eurabelt Fuels Ltd and carry its reputation. This policy sets out the limited circumstances in which a partner organisation may refer to Eurabelt, so that the public is never misled about the nature of a partnership.
2Written permission is required
2.1No organisation or person may use the name Eurabelt, the name Eurabelt Fuels, the seal of the Eurabelt Custodial Order or any other mark of Eurabelt without the prior written permission of Eurabelt Fuels Ltd. Applying to the framework, being assessed or holding correspondence with Eurabelt gives no such permission.
3The approved statement
3.1While, and only while, an organisation is listed as an approved partner on the CSR portal, it may describe itself in these exact words:
Approved NGO Partner of the Eurabelt Fuels CSR Framework
3.2The statement may be used on the partner’s website, annual report and materials about the activity supported, and may link to the partner’s profile on csr.eurabeltfuels.com. It may not be altered, abbreviated or combined with other words in a way that changes its meaning.
4Use of the emblem
4.1The seal of the Eurabelt Custodial Order may be reproduced by a partner only where Eurabelt has given written permission for a specific use, and only in the artwork supplied by Eurabelt. The seal may not be redrawn, recoloured, cropped, distorted, animated or combined with any other mark, and it may not be used as part of the partner’s own name, logo or domain.
5No implication beyond the partnership
5.1A partner must not state or imply that:
- Eurabelt endorses, guarantees or is responsible for the partner, its products, services, opinions or other activities;
- the partner is an agent, branch, representative or member of Eurabelt, or may act or speak for Eurabelt;
- Eurabelt has made, or will make, any commitment beyond what has been agreed in a signed written agreement;
- Eurabelt supports any political, religious or fundraising campaign of the partner.
5.2A partner must not use the name or emblem of Eurabelt to solicit donations or funding from third parties without the specific written permission of Eurabelt.
6Authority to use the Eurabelt name
6.1Only the people listed on the Leadership page of eurabeltfuels.uk act for Eurabelt Fuels Ltd. Anyone not so listed has no authority to use the Eurabelt name, to describe themselves as acting for Eurabelt, or to grant permission to use its name or emblem.
6.2Misuse of the Eurabelt name, or any impersonation of Eurabelt, should be reported to compliance@eurabeltfuels.eu.
7End of permission
7.1Permission ends automatically when a partnership ends or is suspended, or when Eurabelt withdraws it by written notice. The partner must then stop using the approved statement and any mark of Eurabelt, and remove them from its website, social media and materials within 30 days, or at once where Eurabelt so requires.
7.2Eurabelt may take any action available in law to protect its name and marks.
8Review
