No-Commitment and Funding Disclaimer

1Purpose of this disclaimer

1.1The CSR portal of Eurabelt Fuels Ltd presents the framework under which Eurabelt may choose to support registered, audited organisations whose work is aligned with its three pillars. This disclaimer sets out clearly what the portal, an application and any correspondence do not do, so that no organisation or person is in any doubt.

2The framework is not an offer

2.1The framework, the pillars, the cause areas, the requirements and every other part of the portal describe how Eurabelt approaches corporate social responsibility. They are not an offer, a call for funding proposals with a promised outcome, or an invitation to treat, and they do not create any right to support.

3No obligation is created

3.1None of the following creates any obligation on Eurabelt Fuels Ltd, or on any Eurabelt entity, to fund, partner with, contract with or make any payment to any organisation or person:

• the publication of the framework or of any page of the portal;
• the submission, receipt, acknowledgement, reference number or review of an application;
• due diligence, requests for documents, meetings, site visits or other steps in an assessment;
• the listing of an organisation as an approved partner, or a statement of approval;
• any correspondence, discussion, estimate, plan or indication of interest, whether written or oral.

3.2An organisation that incurs costs in preparing an application or in responding to due diligence does so at its own expense.

4Support only under a signed written agreement

4.1Any funding, grant, in-kind contribution or other support is provided only under a separate written agreement that sets out its terms and is signed on behalf of Eurabelt Fuels Ltd by an authorised signatory. Until such an agreement is signed, there is no commitment of any kind.

4.2The persons who act for Eurabelt are listed on the Leadership page of eurabeltfuels.uk. No other person has authority to make any commitment in the name of Eurabelt.

5Discretion of Eurabelt

5.1Eurabelt may decline any application, suspend or end any assessment, or decline to continue any partnership, at its sole discretion and without giving reasons. Meeting the published requirements makes an organisation eligible to be considered; it does not entitle it to approval or support.

6No fees are ever charged

6.1Eurabelt never charges any fee to apply, to be assessed, to be screened, to be approved or to be listed as a partner. Eurabelt does not ask for any payment, deposit, processing charge or “release fee” in connection with its CSR framework.

6.2If anyone asks you for a fee or a payment in the name of Eurabelt in connection with CSR support, do not pay. Treat the request as an attempted fraud and report it at once to compliance@eurabeltfuels.eu. Eurabelt corresponds only from company addresses on its own domains.

7Relationship with other documents

7.1This disclaimer forms part of the Terms of Use (EBF-CSR-POL-01) and applies together with the CSR Framework Policy (EBF-CSR-POL-06) and the Partner Due Diligence and Sanctions Screening Policy (EBF-CSR-POL-07). Where a signed written agreement exists, its terms govern the support it describes.
